Ride to Washington, D.C. for Rolling
Thunder XXI
Memorial Day Weekend 2008
Since this was the second year for Norma and Allen from Frankfort, Indiana to join us on our ride to the wall, we wanted to see some different sights as well as some of our favorites. Taking lots of photos and experimenting with our camera.
Saturday, May 24th
Went downtown to visit Thunder Alley (vendors),
monuments, etc.

Visited a couple of Harley dealerships in the area.
Enjoyed a live band during lunch.
Later we rode back to D.C. and I got a few interesting shots.

In the evening we toured the Museum of Natural
History. This place is really cool.

Sunday, May 25th
After breakfast we headed to the Pentagon parking lot.
Plenty of time to walk around and take photos. Lots of beautiful custom artwork.

Monday, May 26th
On the way home we stopped at Fort Custer National Cemetery in
Michigan.
You don't realize how many are buried here until you see all the flags.
