Ride to Washington, D.C. for Rolling
Thunder XX
Memorial Day Weekend 2007

Friday, May 26th
On the way to Washington D.C.
we rode along Lincoln Highway for the most part letting the GPS plan our route. We
stopped at the Flight 93
Temporary Memorial in Shanksville, PA.

Later we visited the Battle of Gettysburg
Museum and stopped at the Battlefield Harley Davidson Dealership (one of our favorites) before
arriving in Washington D.C. Friday evening we attended the Candle
Light Vigil at the Wall. Took a few photos of various memorials.

Saturday, May 26th
We
visited Arlington National Cemetery first thing on Saturday morning.

On Saturday afternoon. We enjoyed a free
lunch and registered to receive a National H.O.G. event pin at Ft.Washington H.D. Dealership Party.

Sunday, May 27th
We got up early and headed to the Pentagon parking lot. Lots
of time to walk around and take photos It was so hot. Sure glad they had
sprinklers to cool us off.

You have to participate in this parade to believe it. Viewing
the photos is another option. After the parade we stayed to listen to the speakers and Paul
Revere & the Raiders. Finally got a decent photo of the Vietnam War
Memorial. Stopped to eat & buy souvenirs at Hard Rock Cafe.
