Van Riper S. P. is located on the shore of
Michigamme Lake.
There was snow still on the ground from the previous week. (above)
We drove the back roads for 2 days. On the
1st day we followed the Peshekee River.
On the 2nd day we drove to Wolf Lake. Beautiful scenery
but no Moose. (below)
We drove to Copper Harbor (above) for lunch on
Saturday the 14th.
From there we drove to Eagle Harbor. (below) Lake Superior waves
were crashing the shoreline. We took photos of 2 more Lighthouses. Eagle Harbor
Lighthouse & Sand Point Lighthouse
of Baraga (below). Just north of Eagle Harbor is Copper Harbor,
